The Blue Bride
One of the main requirements for this gown was to match the colour to the pendant necklace the Bride's wearing which Catherine found in this beautiful silk satin. The skirt was to have roses climbing up it. Catherine created the look by cutting individual rose clusters, leaves and single flowers from the heavy guipure lace she used for the bolero type jacket and appliquéd them to the satin with a connecting embroidered stem.
